Directly adjacent to that site, local officials greenlit plans for a brand-new four-story building at 167–169 Newark Avenue featuring extensive retail frontage. Meanwhile, out in Journal Square, Emara Ghobrial Architects designed Casa 824 at 822–826 Pavonia Avenue to add 35 apartments and a communal roof deck.
