Details of the Violent Incident
Officials say the attack happened just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday. It took place in a parked car in Hasbrouck Heights.
Police got involved after Hackensack University Medical Center reported a stabbing victim in critical condition. The woman had several stab wounds in her torso.
Prosecutors said Muhammad fired a handgun at her before stabbing her over and over. Luckily, none of the bullets hit her.
After the assault, Muhammad took off in the victim’s car. He later abandoned the vehicle, and police found it on Duffield Avenue in Jersey City.
