Description

One of the best-kept dining secrets in Jersey City has been revealed.

At the Culinary Cafe at Hudson County Community College in Journal Square, patrons can try gourmet dishes by Chef Rick Low, former executive chef for NBC and the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Students from HCCC's Culinary Institute serve as his sous-chefs.

The Culinary Cafe is open Tuesdays only. Breakfast, which runs about $2 to $3 depending on your selection, is served from 8 to 10 a.m., and the buffet lunch, $8, is served from noon to 1:30 p.m.
