Rail
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system connects the western portions of Jersey City to Exchange Place, Newport Center, Hoboken Terminal and residential Bayonne. You can also make an easy connection to PATH subway trains from Jersey City to midtown and lower Manhattan. With more than a dozen stations throughout Jersey City, these streamlined trains provide an important link between Jersey City's neighborhoods and the surrounding NYC metro area.
The light rail line also connects Jersey City to the rest of the NJ Transit rail system and three major transfer stations for the bus and ferry.
