Newark Airport is only 11 miles from Jersey City and there are several transportation options.
AIRTRAIN/RAIL LINK/PATH
Take the AirTrain Monorail to Newark Liberty International Airport Station. Take the NJ Transit train to NEWARK Penn Station, take the PATH train across the platform to heading to NYC (WTC) and exit at Exchange Place. For the Ramada Limited, the PATH stop is Journal Square. For Newport/Pavonia hotels, you will need to take the lightrail to the Newport Station. AirTrain runs 24 hours a day. 7 days a week (scheduled every 3 minutes during peak hours, every 15 minutes off peak).
NJ TRANSIT TRAIN
$5.50, available at ticket counter and at vending machines. A surcharge of $5.00 is added when purchasing your ticket onboard. NJ Transit trains run three times an hour (Between 9 p.m. and midnight, two trains arrive every hour. Service is not available between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.)

PATH (Subway from NJ/NYC)
Fare is a $1.75 per ride. You may pay per ride, or purchase a Smart Link Card – 10 trips $13.00 ($5 card fee) –reduces rides to a $1.30. For seniors (65 and older), the one-way fare is $1, payable with the PATH Senior SmartLink Card. Children ages 5 and under ride PATH free. You may also use a pay per trip Metrocard (Weekly/Monthly not accepted). All may be purchased at the nearest PATH station. PATH runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

BUS/PATH
Take the #62 bus to Newark Penn Station (NJ Transit Bus), and then take the PATH to Exchange Place. By Bus/PATH, approximately 45 minutes.
TAXI
Taxi/Limo, approximately 15 minutes.
DRIVING
Drive time approximately 15 minutes. Leaving Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
1. Start out going NORTH. 0.6 mi
2. Merge onto I-78 E toward I-95/NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE/US-1 & 9 N (Portions toll). 8.7 mi
3. Take the exit toward JERSEY CITY/COLUMBUS DRIVE. 0.3 mi
