BONNIE GLORIS was born and raised outside of Albany, New York. She moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design in 2002, and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in May 2006. Bonnie is now living in Jersey City, though she commutes to Manhattan daily.

A fleeting moment captured in a snapshot, an intriguing word or phrase, a distant memory, suddenly surfaced... As I consider this fresh muse, my vague ideas gradually coalesce into a more coherent concept. For some concepts, a realistic oil painting is most fitting. For others, a looser mixed media piece is more poignant.
