Everybody like a good story, right? And when it's free, what else could you ask for? Live music by local musicians, of course!

Jersey Shorts is a wonderful evening of music and story telling. Modeled after Public Radio International's "Selected Shorts and Symphony Space," JCity Theater brings together prominent local figures for readings of funny and inspiring short stories, and for good measure we throw in the best of the best of local musical acts. The resulting mix is a fantastic night of laughter and song.
