Art House Productions presents JC FRIDAYS A full day of free arts events in Jersey City! * art * performance * music * film , where local businesses and arts organizations join together to celebrate art and culture in Jersey City. All events are open to the public. Programs include art openings and exhibits, spoken word, music, dance, film/video screenings, theater and alternative performance. Free.

Some highlights include:

ART— “Studio Tour Preview Exhibition” presented by the Jersey City Department of

Cultural Affairs in the Rotunda Gallery of City Hall featuring the art of local street artists

Bigfoot, Tristan, Kid Zoom and more

EDUCATION—The Academy of Massage Therapy presents a Massage Therapy Student

Clinic

MUSIC—A special edition of “Groove on Grove” at the PATH plaza featuring Black

Hollies, The Milwaukees, and Segunda Quimbamba. Libations and food by Bar Majestic,

Sawadee, and More

MUSIC— ART HOUSE PRODUCTIONS presents “The Ukuladies Jersey CD Release

Party,” celebrating their Debut CD, All Time Greatest Hits Volume II!

EDUCATION—Central Avenue Liquors will offer educational wine sampling

KIDS—A Sound Start, by Van Vorst Park, will offer interactive fun for the whole family

including demo Kindermusik classes and Itsy Bitsy Yoga

ART—“Art in Every Neighborhood,” presented by Imago Basilico on Bergen Ave, will

showcase original works by area artists

MUSIC—John Batnick playing his acoustic blues folk and rock guitar at The Pointe at

Port Liberte

ART—“Kung Fu and The Agaperos,” artwork by James Post, is inspired by the martial

arts, integral philosophy and consciousness research, will be on display at 88 Morgan

ART—Live figure drawing in the garden of the Jersey City Art School on 5th

Street
