Re: Exchange Place
Exchange Place is Jersey City’s financial center and home to many Fortune 500 companies. It runs along the southern half of the waterfront, including Paulus Hook. Exchange Place was the first part of Jersey City to be redeveloped, and is built on the grounds of the former Jersey City Penn Station, ferry and shipping terminals. Now a bustling neighborhood, Exchange Place offers fabulous shops and fine dining. Stroll along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, taking in the Manhattan skyline.
Things to do in Exchange Place.
- Walk the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. The waterfront pathway goes from Bayonne, past Liberty State Park and the Statue of Liberty all the way north into Hoboken, and is over 18.5 miles long. Rent a bicycle to enjoy it all.
- Take a ferry across the Hudson River to NYC.
- Dine on haute cuisine, in one of Jersey City’s premier restaurants, without a NYC price tag.
- Visit the Museum of Contemporary Russian Art (MoCRA).
- Take in the wildlife. See the Jersey City Peregrine Project, 101 Hudson Street.
- Shop. Dine. Relax at a waterfront spa.
