Greenville

Greenville is rich in Jersey City history. This southside district is home to local landmarks like Greenville Hospital, dating back to the late 1800s; the Afro-American Historical and Cultural Society Museum (located on the second floor of the Greenville Branch Library, opened in 1927); historic Bayview Cemetery on the slopes of the city's southeastern edge; and the famous Laicos restaurant, in the heart of a residential neighborhood on Terhune Avenue.

There's a strong sense of community in Greenville. The Urban League of Hudson County is headquartered here, and parks like Country Village, Bayside and Audubon are where families come to relax and play.

Two light rail stations (Richard Street and Danforth Avenue) connect Greenville to the northern sections of the city and neighboring Bayonne.
